Well, I’m coping with some computer issues this week, so this post is a bit different than what I’d planned! Hopefully next week, I”ll have my laptop (and photos and notes) back and can share some tips that keep my world rocking as smoothly as possible. In the meantime, I’ll share with you one of my favorite sources for decor and design inspiration… and this is one I discovered when Pinterest was still in the planning stages.
Warning: what you are about to read could result in additional time spent on the computer.
There… I warned you. 🙂
Do you Houzz? I started Houzzing (yes, I made up that verb!) over a year ago and it’s become one of my go-to sources for online decor and renovation inspiration. While there are some DIY Ideabooks on Houzz, it’s largely a massive portfolio for professional designers, architects, and landscapers. And I mean cream of the crop. You can create your own ideabooks by adding their photos to ideabooks you name and organize. You can also upload your own photos if you like, but I use it mostly to collect ideas and inspiration from the pros.
For instance, I have an ideabook of amazing outdoor spaces…
And another for favorite vignettes…
