Hi all you Fancy Little Things readers!
I’m Heather, and you can find me over at It’s A Long Story
I blog about life, faith and family. Hopefully you’ll find encouragement and inspiration!
Today I want to talk to you about grilling.
I am NOT the griller in the family, that would be my mom. That woman grills in Chicago in January. However, I love using the grill in the summer time. We pretty much unplug the stove at our house once the weather gets warm. Who wants to be heating up the house in July? Am I right?
So, I need easy grill recipes! I don’t want to be checking and flipping and cross-hatching and whatever. Enter in…grill packets! I’ve heard them called Hobo Packs, too. What are they? Basically anything you can throw together, wrap up in foil, toss on the grill and ignore ’til it’s done. That’s my kind of grilling!
Here are some of my favorite combos:
Fish Fajita packets
Tilapia (or your fish of choice) / sliced bell peppers / sliced onion / Goya Adobo seasoning
Rosemary Chicken Packets
diced chicken (raw) / diced apples / diced onions / fresh rosemary / salt & pepper
What I love about grill packets is that they are perfect for personalizing. I think it would be so much fun to have a DIY grill packet cook-out with tons of options for everyone! Chicken, steak, sausage, potatoes, every veggie you can think of….fun!
I did a quick Pinterest search, and found TONS of yummy looking packet recipes.
