I have one of those fabulous friends. The kind that makes you want to go out and do something insanely creative. The kind that inspires you to do more, to be more — in business and in life.
I’d like you all to meet Emilee. She is the owner and lead designer of Tasteful Tatters, a lovely vintage rental and styling company based right outside of Los Angeles, and she also writes a great little blog. Her taste in fashion, home decor, and wedding trends is superb. And she’s here with us today with a great little DIY.
Hi Everyone! Thanks for having me. This DIY was actually inspired by my mother who thought it would be so fun to have a cute little “white board” in the kitchen. It is so simple and can be so useful for writing out your menu (like I did) or notes to remember.
8 1/2 x 11 frame in any style you like! You can find awesome frames at Goodwill, Dollar Store, and even Wal-Mart
Dry erase marker
1 Sheet of lined paper
Step 1: Carefully* place your lined paper in the picture frame so that the lines are face the right direction to write on. * I say carefully because line paper is pretty thin and if you grip it too tight it will show a crease and you will forever notice that crease in your frame – I’m a perfectionist in case you haven’t noticed!
Step 2: Tie a bow with your ribbon and glue to the top corner of the frame. It is important that you only glue the back of the ribbon so you can slip your marker in the top part of the knot.
Step 3: Add your words and your good to go!
