Hello FLT Readers!
So happy to be here again! Last time you’ll remember I wrote a little bit about embracing your beautiful, challenging you to have confidence in the way God made you. So this time around I thought I would share some practical tips to help you feel better about yourselves.
Now, just to be clear, I am going to talk about makeup & hair and accessories. I don’t think you need these things. I do however believe in “dressing for success” in a way. When I am having down times and feeling ugly it very often correlates with how well I’ve taken care of myself. Have I showered in three days? Have I put on a bra today? Did I even attempt any kind of beauty regime?
Because when I do, I feel so much better! I feel like I can face the world and conquer my day. What I am learning recently is that wearing makeup does not have to mean spending an hour in the bathroom getting ready. So today I wanted to three different makeup looks that I use that are all under 10 minutes.
By having three go-to makeup regimes I still feel like I am mixing it up and I manage to feel pretty in a jiffy! Hopefully you can take these and make them your own and have them work for you!

I have done two versions on this, winter edition and summer edition. They are both done in under 5 minutes and are really perfect for everyday. If I need more coverage I go with the winter edition. If I just want to keep it light – summer edition! So easy! You didn’t take too much time in the bathroom yet you feel confident and beautiful for the day!
Here is a graphic to give you a run down. You can see the whole version as well as a video on my site if you’d like!
This look is so fun and really not nearly as hard as it looks! Get a good liquid liner (this is what I use and my favorite) do some practice runs & you’ll have it down in no time pat. Once you have it down you will be able to get your whole makeup look done in less than 10 minutes because when you wear the cat eye, the rest of your look is really simple!
Bold lips! They can be intimidating at first but they add so much to a look with very very little effort! Here are some of my favorite bold lip colors that I carry in my makeup bag. I honestly couldn’t even give you a favorite, I love them all!
If bold lips are something that’s intimidating, you’ve just gotta give it a try. I have talked about wearing bold lips on my blog if you need some extra help. Here is a little graphic on how to apply:
So, since we’re sharing beauty tips – what’s your go-to beauty regime?
