Hi lovely FLT readers!
It’s Natalia and I’m back again with some beauty info for ya! Today I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite beauty products. I think anyone can have the hairstyle they want, you just might have to put a little work into it! Here are a few tips.
Let’s start first with the cut. Find a hairdresser that you love. To be fair, it takes up to 3 visits to know if the hairstylist is a good one. They need a chance to work with your hair and get used to it. However, if you’ve gone more than once and are still not happy, it’s time to shop around!
Second is styling. I used to try to create the looks I wanted without any product. Not because I didn’t think they would help but because I was a mixture of lazy and cheap. Now I understand that to achieve certain looks, you just need product. Here are a few of my go-to products: start with a good shampoo and conditioner, uplifting foam or root lifter, smoothing cream, and hairspray.
I have found my hair feel the best when I wash & condition with Redken. It really makes a difference! I know it can be expensive, but it is a good investment. My favorite uplifting foam is Aquage. It really does wonders for volume. My second favorite is Big Sexy Hair Root Pump, I’m currently using that one. It’s good, but I like Aquage better.
For smoothing cream when I wear my hair straight once again Redken is great. I love anything Chi and they have a product called Straight Guard Smoothing Styling Cream. Then moving onto hairspray. If you like a firm hold, try Kenra 13. If you you just need a little extra, this Bumble and Bumble is fabulous. If you’re looking for something less expensive, try this L’Oreal Elnett.
I hope you enjoyed all my suggestions, I have either used them all personally on myself or on clients (I do hair for weddings occasionally) and love them. So you know I’m not just throwing things out there!
Next time I’ll be back with some Hair appliances that I know, use, and love! Hope to see you there!
