Happy New Year friends!
I am forever losing track of time, always wondering what day
it is and having responsibilities sneak up on me.
Another calendar that I actually want to look at could only be helpful to me in this new year.
I created this pretty little table top calendar and thought you may enjoy making one too.
(The “M” indicates that it’s a MOPS day!)
I started with an unfinished wood frame with a heart shape cutout from Michael’s
that was in their dollar bins. I pulled out the little metal prongs that hold pictures in.
Trace it’s shape and cutout onto your choice of scrapbook paper,
cut it out, and then glue it on to the front of the frame.
I used Modge Podge and brushed it on with a foam brush.
For the monthly calendars, I used a Cricut and cut 2 3/4″ circles out of cardstock.
For the actual calendar, I found this cute little Calendar Stamp! by Amy Tangerine.

You can darken the edges of your frame and cutout with a brown ink pad.
Don’t be afraid to drag it across the paper a bit for an even more distressed look!
I strung the twine with thumbtacks across the back of the frame.
Those tiny clothes pins can be found in your craft or office supply stores.
A pretty little addition that will hopefully help to keep me on task!
