Yesterday was Good Friday. The day our Savior hung on a cross to take the punishment for our sins. He paid the price so we wouldn’t have to. Watch anything that portrays the Passion, the brutality and mockery that He took in our place, and you realize just how high the price was.
But, you are willing to pay a high price for something of great value.
God thinks we are VERY valuable. Valuable enough to give his Son, over to our earthly life, to bear an earthly death far worse than any of us will ever experience.
And, you should take great care of things that hold great value.
When we give our lives to Christ, we give our bodies over to. We are not our own. We are His. He dwells with us and in us, and for that reason, our bodies become sacred, like temples.
This month at Fancy Little Things, our theme is about taking care of our temples, meaning ourselves. How are you taking care of your temple – physically, emotionally and spiritually?
Do you know your value? You were bought at a price. A high one.
May we all reflect on that this Easter weekend, and come back Monday as we being our new theme for April.
