Yes, you heard me. Eat it.
Because our obsession with health and beauty shouldn’t be so ridiculously that it refrains us from enjoying ourselves every once in awhile. Not all the time but a few times is perfectly acceptable.
I am not telling you to eat the whole plate of cookies. Just one. Enjoy every last bite.
But there is grace in the cookie.
We all sin. We all are gluttons. We will all stuff our faces and need to promptly pull out the stretchy pants post Christmas and that’s okay.
Don’t beat yourself up.
Don’t over think.
Don’t over indulge too much.
Do pick yourself up.
Do drink lots of water.
Do something physical maybe a family walk.
Do eat the cookie.
God is going to love you the regardless of the cookie eating. He is also not going to enjoy that you find your value in a pant size, body shape, eating ideal and worldly criteria than Him alone.
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
There is a ton of emphasize on both camps…eat away who cares and the how to lose weight during the holidays. Find your middle ground.
Find comfort in Jesus not the cookie….but still enjoy the cookie. Hopefully yours has sprinkles on it 🙂
