To go with our back to school theme, I decided to go back to a simple basic workout that everyone can do to help maintain a healthy, fit body. So, just like in school we have our core classes of math, science, reading, and social studies; we have our core workout of cardio, core, arms, and legs. Get out and get active this week and let me know if you have a basic exercise that you do regularly.
The goal of this workout is to repeat it three times in one week! Remember we are going back to basics.
For each workout start with a 30 minute walk or run
- push ups 3 sets of 15 reps
- sit ups/crunches 3 sets of 25 reps
- squats 3 sets of 15 reps
YOU ARE DONE!
I hope that this workout lasts about 45 minutes and that you can repeat the workout three days this week.
