If you have a sister, then you know how very, very important ♥️ they are. I had Jack and Abigail in my mid-20’s and then shortly after went through a divorce.

For years, I was certain that I would not have any more children and it would just be us 3 👩🏻👧🏻👦🏼 amigos.

Then Lenny @glutenfree_dad came into our lives with his beautiful, smart and loving 👩🏼daughter, Allie.

From the moment Allie and Abigail met they were instant-sisters. Through and through.

It has been a true joy to watch these two girls turn into young ladies... and have each other to go through the pre-teen years together and beyond.

Raising these daughters to be confident, loving and authentic. Raising them in the way that they should go so they will continue to love, honor and serve God.

🌮🌮🌮 Tacos are a party for the mouth. Yeowza! 😍 Eating clean seemed too arduous for a long, long time.

Then, I learned the incredible benefits of eating clean while my autoimmune symptoms began to subside.

➕Satisfied longer
➕Reduced inflammation and reduce antibodies

Over time, I learned balance and now craft delicious meals for my family using whole, nutrient dense foods like these fish 🐟 tacos 🌮 filled with red onion 🧅, avocado 🥑, cilantro and our favorite hot sauce from @texaspetesauces.

For years, my autoimmune symptoms were uncontrolla

For years, my autoimmune symptoms were uncontrollable. I looked healthy, but here’s what I was dealing with.

1️⃣Bloating 🙋🏻‍♀️ and constipation.
2️⃣Acne🧍🏻‍♀️like a teenager.
3️⃣Irregular menstrual 🔴 cycle.
4️⃣Exhausted 😴the moment I woke up.
5️⃣Energy support pills 💊 to stay awake.
6️⃣Random 🤷🏻‍♀️ weight gain.
7️⃣Mood 😍😭😬🤬 swings.
8️⃣Brain 💭 fog.

We all get to the point where we’re done… and I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. Something had to change.

In February I was finally ready to give up the things that were making me sick.

I cut every known inflammatory food from my diet and within 3 days the nagging brain fog lifted. I woke up with energy for the first time in 10 years.

My gut was processing regularly and the tummy bloat was gone. By April, I was back to lifting weights 3-4 days a week.

Today, my body is stronger and healthier… and it feels so good. Eating clean has literally changed every aspect of my life.

I now incorporate more fruits 🍉 🍎 and vegetables 🍅 🥬 into every day and I have found so may delicious dessert 🍪🧁🍨 recipes when I want something sweet.

My autoimmune and chronic disease symptoms are almost completely gone.

No magic pills. No magic shakes.

As I have shared my story, many of you have reached out to me for help and I knew that I needed to do something.

In June, we launched the first 8 Week Clean Eating Challenge group to help people just like you to slowly and steadily embrace a cleaner and healthier lifestyle.

To reduce your body's inflammation, to optimize your nutrition, to help you lose weight and boost your immune system.

Our Challenge group had such great success that we’re doing it again.

Over the course of 56 days, we provide you with the tools you need to create healthy meals for yourself and your family while providing the framework so you truly believe in this lifestyle change.

Our next Challenge launches August 1st. Are you in?

I want to feel accomplished. Feel whole. Feel 100% healthy all the time. I want to complete everything I start.

It’s true, I struggle.

I struggled through the many years it took to get divorced from someone that wanted nothing to do with the kids... and did everything he could to try and destroy me.

I struggled to find a protocol to help heal my body and begin pushing my hashimoto’s into remission.

I struggled with finding a new normal as a single mom... buying a home, homeschooling the kids and finding myself again.

Looking back, I know that everything I went through was only one day at a time.

One moment at a time.

Filled with grace and mercy and the love of Jesus.

A lump of clay being molded and shaped for His glory, by the work of His hands.

Married to an incredible husband @glutenfree_dad, raising our 3 kids together, a booked work schedule, a joyful little community, a healthier body than I’ve ever known... and a gentle reminder to focus on the step in front of me, not the whole staircase.
