Hi friends!
How many of you have ever stood in the drink aisle at the grocery store wondering what to buy for a party. Wait, is 2 colas and a lemon lime enough? What about diet drinkers? Do that many people really like root beer? What if I end up with too much? What if I don’t get enough?
GAH! It’s too much stress! Party throwing should not be this difficult, which is why I love beverage bars! Limit the drinks to a few simple options, but make them just fancy enough to make your party goers feel special. I’ve got some for every season of the year!
Spring
Iced Tea: This simple iced tea bar from Happiness is Homemade uses a Keurig to make individual servings, but you could easily make pitchers of tea ahead of time. Think of all the different options!
Mimosas: Mimosas are perfect for a springtime brunch or bridal shower! I’ve only ever had them the traditional way, with orange juice, but don’t all of the juices in this bar from Smarty Had A Party look yummy? Sparkling cider or grape juice works great, too!
Summer
Lemonade: Who doesn’t love a glass of lemonade on a hot summer day? Yellow Bliss Road let her guests add their own fresh fruit and flavored syrups to create their own delicious concoction! (pssst…she has cute, FREE printables in this post too. Who doesn’t love a good printable??)
Margaritas: Lots of people love margaritas for a summer picnic. Wish I Were A Housewife made some great ones with different citrus juices and fresh fruit. You could even offer different liquors like rum or vodka to mix it up, or club soda for your non-drinkers!
Autumn
Apple Cider: Apple cider is one of my favorite parts about autumn. There is something so comforting about a nice warm mug of it in your hands. This super simple hot apple cider bar from Dukes and Duchesses looks so cozy!
Winter
Hot Cocoa: Does it get any better than hot cocoa in the winter time? There are so many cute hot cocoa bar choices out there!
This one from Cozycakes Cottage is adorable! Couldn’t you see it set up in the corner on Christmas? Sipping cocoa and opening presents…yes, please!
This one from Celebrating Everyday Life offers different cocoa mixes and all sorts of goodies to mix in!
And this one from And Now This takes a completely different turn. You start with solid chocolate and then more steamed milk over the top! Doesn’t that sound decadent? She ordered hers, but you could make your own with spoons or ice cube trays!
Happy sipping!
