have any plain ol’ baseball hats in the closet? {maybe your husband’s hat collection?!}
well, we have these two hats that were plain, simple and… well… boring!
anytime you can add a little bit of personalization to something makes it special. my kids were literally in tears with pure excitement to have their own letter on their hat. jack didn’t take his off for the next several days!
some materials
- baseball hat
- felt & coordinating thread
- needle & scissors
- about 15 minutes!
step #1: type in your letter in Microsoft word or similar program and find the font you love – then print!
step #2: place the printable on top of the felt & cut out the shape
step #3: hand stitch starting in the corner of one of your letters and be sure to knot a few times on the backside to ensure it stays put!
step #4: take really cute photos of your kids wearing their over-sized letter hats!
what do you think? cutest kids EVER, right?!! and those hats.. i am in love with how they came out. i know just what to do for my friends with kids having birthdays this next year.
