first i want to show you a simple picnic basket makeover. do you have any baskets that are lined and either in rough shape or just not working with your decor anymore? i sure did! i love this basket – i have used it to hold books, blankets, toys.. and it has been in the closet for far too long – so it’s time for a makeover!!
just measure the pieces with a sewing tape measure, cut out your fabric, do some simple straight sewing and line your basket with something fun! i didn’t like the brown straps or hinges, so after 3 coats of Essie nail polish, they are shiny & new!!
{i RARELY post sewing tutorials here because #1: you should not taking sewing advice from me. #2: i have way too much fun sewing and “making it up as i go” that i don’t take pictures to prove how awful i am!}
