this month we’ve been exploring the topic “treasures of home” and we’ve been following along over here in the DIY cattegory. i shared a post 2 weeks ago about how to Gallery Wrap your poster sized photos or fabric and last week i encouraged you to go “thrifting” and spray paint some home decor pieces. this week is all about matting photos!!
in middle & high school i had an amazing art teacher named Miss. Thiell. she taught me photography {with an old b&w 35mm nikon}, how to develop my images, make bowls & flower vases out of pottery, draw with charcoal, emboss paper & so much more. but today, i will be using her quick & easy techniques to cut simple mats that instantly make any photo, frame-worthy!
