so why not consolidate two important tasks and gain something precious from it: time.
we are called to be good stewards of all God has blessed us with, and that certainly includes our homes and bodies. on a day where we seem to have limited time or energy to clean house and head to the gym, be encouraged to know that you can do both at once!
these 5 major areas of housekeeping
are not only good for your home and transportation, but for your mind, body and soul as well.
tending to the lawn and garden is good for achieving healthy amounts of strength-training, peaceful prayer time and optimal tasks for taking in fresh air and vitamin D.
mopping and vacuuming not only boost our cardiovascular system, but are necessary for removing pathogens and germs that get settled into our surfaces and useful for stirring up fresh air in our home.
washing the car is necessary for not only showing a bit of love to the machine that grants us transportation, but also serves as a great upper body workout and a chance to check your wipers, lights and tire pressure. (think; safety!)
if you work these areas of housekeeping to the fullest, you will not only check some of the largest chores off your list, but you’ll send about 1000 calories away as well. keep this in mind if you need to boost your workout or are just looking for a way to skip the gym and enjoy the sun, instead.
God has blessed His daughters with creative minds and strong bodies..
