how often do you & your family eat outside?
do you sit at a picnic table, head to a lake or just relax in comfortable wicker furniture on the porch?
most summer days growing up were spent outside playing all day with a dinner bell clanging across the fields telling us that dinner was being served! as we approached the house, a picnic table was typically prepped with dinner served on paper plates nestled inside wicker plate holders, tall metal cups filled with milk & a bowl full of watermelon. as a family of 6, it was best to keep our intense energy, chatting discussions and messy little brothers OUTSIDE!

as a momma to 2, i have followed suit. spilled milk means a lot less outside… walking away from the mess left after dinner to go for a bike ride or pick up a game of soccer in the backyard.
so, grab a tray — fill it with your dinnerware, a carafe, picnic food (or the dinner you’re about to cook) & head outside to create memories with your children:
