Last month, I shared Embracing Public School as a Christian Mom, and promised to follow up with some of the ways we have blessed the teachers and staff within at the elementary school where our children attend. All of these ideas were set-up in the teachers’ lounge so everyone had a chance to enjoy them. By working together as a group, rotating the responsibility for organizing and setting up each month, and each contributing needed items, nothing was too difficult to pull together.
Baskets of fresh apples & fruit, apple juice, apple muffins, caramels and chocolates!!
Small favor bag filled with a tea light and tied off with a two-sided bookmark!
Each person in the group made a couple dozen muffins which gave a nice variety!
Flavored coffee creamers, different teas, cappuccino mixes, hot cider – great for a colder month!
Bowls full of all kind of options to make their own healthy snack with bags to tote it back to their classrooms for an afternoon pick-me-up. We did our in February and used heart-shaped bowls! (Sorry no photos!)
Everyone in our group brought a fruit and we had a fun morning cutting it up and arranging this beautiful bouquet!
In June, the school has a Carnival Day! A great day to provide easy-to-grab snacks, cold drinks and fresh, sliced watermelon. The scripture tags were wrapped around each bottle of water!
The teachers and staff truly appreciate our blessings and told us so in a wonderful card we recieved at the end of the year. Many noted how it brightened their day and on tougher days, was just the appreciation they needed to get through.
With all the teachers within our public schools are facing these days, they need all the prayers, appreciation and blessings that we can pour onto them!!
