Better than any V8 or power drink, lately, I’ve been running on Grace Juice.
Yes, a daily, full-serving of Grace delivered fresh from the Source.
How do I know this?
Because the amount and magnitude of the tasks before me is beyond me.
Because the energy and passion flowing through me for those task is beyond me.
God gave me the word GRACE back in January, but with a new definition for me from a teaching from Joyce Meyer.
GRACE is trusting God to do what you cannot do. It is the POWER of God, freely available to us, every day, in whatever amount we need, enabling us to do, with ease, what we could never do on our own with any amount of struggle and effort.
At the time, I was 7 months pregnant with baby #5. My oldest of 4 sons was still a few weeks shy of his 6th birthday. The thought of basic life, just being a Mom, keeping a home, cooking three meals a day, folding a family-of-seven’s laundry, loving a husband, maintaining friendship and a bit of sanity…all seemed impossible.
And some days it was. And some days it is.
But lately, it has been all Grace. Grace to do all of that and more. To think far more and see far more and do far more than is possible.
Possible for me at least.
And I hear, in the deepness of soul that is Spirit, the same words that Jesus said to the disciples. Recorded for all time by Matthew, Mark and Luke…
With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.
I’m drinking it up as fast as I can, this Grace Juice.
I am energized. I am renewed. I am believing in the possible and seeing the impossible done in His name.
