NOTHING
As silly as it may seem, this one word really explains it all.
While the details are vital, this simple reflection can tie it all together,
and truly connect us to every facet of God’s great plan for His children.
In the beginning:
Nothing was flawed. All was perfect, and good.
Nothing was allowed to contaminate that.. even biting sweet fruit was enough to separate us.
Nothing we sacrificed was enough to close that gap. No offering, deed or prayer.
But nothing changed God’s desire to bring us back to Him.
In the middle:
Nothing tainted even the creation of our Lord. His conception was immaculate.
Nothing strayed from the divine prophecy of His birth. His arrival was as powerful and humble as foretold.
Nothing escaped His temptation; He faced everything as He lived.
Nothing could make Him fail His promise to be our perfect Redeemer.
In the end:
Nothing impeded His purity; He died blameless.
And nothing could hold Him in the grave.
Now:
Nothing can separate us from the love of our Savior.
Nothing is too big to give Him. Nothing is out of His sight.
Nothing you can do can earn His Grace, and nothing you can do can lose it, either.
His story is everything because it’s founded in nothing that we can comprehend.
We pray you find hope in this today.
