I smile every time I place my rings on this whimsical dinosaur ring dish. It’s such a playful place to hold some of my dearest treasures.
This little project is quite fun and fairly simple. I promise you that the hardest part will be deciding how you want to decorate the dish!
Here are the materials you will need:
Metallic permanent markers
Your choice of spray paint
Plastic toy dinosaur
Tasting dish
E-6000 adhesive
Your first step will be to spray paint your dinosaur. I did two or three coats. Don’t forget to turn him over and get every angle.
Then you can decorate your dish. I chose simple arrows and pin dots for my plate, but you could easily incorporate your favorite scripture or quote, do stripes, dots, chevron, etc. The list is endless! And a little tip–if you make a mistake, use rubbing alcohol to remove it.
Once your dinosaur is dry and you are done with your design, glue him on.
And you’re done! There are no concerns of the marker coming off since this dish won’t be washed.
I hope that you too can enjoy the company of a prehistoric jewelry valet!
